New Date for CREATIVA

Messe Dortmund is reacting to the latest developments in the worldwide corona pandemic for the events sector. In spring, these had initially led to a postponement of the CREATIVA until August 2020. Thanks to the close exchange of information with exhibitors and partners, it has become clear that the CREATIVA 2020 should be held. Due to the currently valid ban on major events until 31.08.2020, this will be postponed once again.

CREATIVA - Europe's leading creative exhibition

CREATIVA, Europe’s largest and most diverse exhibition for creative design, takes place once a year at Messe Dortmund, Germany. The exhibition caters to all those who pursue creative design as a hobby or profession (eg. teachers, educators, special educationists), and anyone wishing to purchase individually designed items.

For over 30 years, CREATIVA has been the event for the creative crafts trade in Germany. An average of around 700 exhibitors and 90,000 visitors gather once a year at Messe Dortmund.

Over a total area of 40,000 square meters, all creative products and techniques can be found under one roof. Themes include felting, handicrafts, spinning, weaving, patchwork quilts, wood and metal work, silk and glass painting, jewelry making, painting, drawing, and pottery.

In addition to the main exhibition where exhibitors present their creative works and share their expertise, a variety of special interactive show features and creative workshops animate visitors to join in and be creative.
