CREATIVA is your place to join in, try things out and be amazed. In all the exhibition halls, you will find everything about the various creative focal points. Hall 6 is home to the “Trends & Inspirations” area for the creative trends of the new year. The Machine Embroidery Marketplace is centrally located in Hall 4 with exhibitors, its own stage and lounge.
In 2026, the focus will be on “Garden & Floristry” and Well Being. In addition to Eva Brenner (ZDF presenter) on the Friday of the fair (March 27), Swetlana Osmers (Slow Gardening) will be on site on all days of the fair.

CREATIVA 2026 will take place from Wednesday, March 25 to Sunday, March 29, 2026.
The exhibition halls are open from 9:00 – 18:00.
We open the following entrances: Entrance North and Entrance Messe West.
There are box offices.
Dogs are not permitted in the exhibition halls.
Checkrooms
The checkrooms are located at the north and west entrances. You can leave jackets here for a small fee (2.00 EIR per item*). The checkrooms are marked on the site map and signposted on the site.

Shopping at CREATIVA
Trolleys and suitcases can be stored at the checkroom during the trade fair. Trolleys and suitcases may be taken into the exhibition halls.

Parking spaces A3, A4, A8, as well as C1/D1, D2 and E1 or parking lot M (Mercedes) are available. The maximum parking fee is €11 per car.

By public transport:
From the subway station “Westfalenhallen” (line U45) you can reach the exhibition grounds in just 10 minutes from Dortmund main station. Alternatively, the U46 will also take you to the “Westfalenhallen” stop in around 5 minutes. The stops are barrier-free and well signposted.
Airports:
The airports of Dortmund, Düsseldorf and Cologne/Bonn are located nearby.

Visa form
According to the decree of the Federal Foreign Office dated 24.07.2013, a letter of invitation from the trade fair company is generally not required. If you still need such a letter, you can create it yourself by filling out the form with your personal details. After submitting the form, you will receive your invitation letter by e-mail.
WLAN
Messe Dortmund offers free WLAN via the CityWLAN of the City of Dortmund. Connect to the “Hotspot Westfalenhallen” network, accept the terms and conditions and you can start using the WLAN.
Accessibility
The exhibition grounds are completely barrier-free. Halls 4 to 8 are connected at ground level, and the upper halls and the congress area are accessible via elevators. Disabled toilets with Eurokey locking systems are available in all halls. Wheelchairs can be borrowed for a deposit at the North Entrance (limited availability). Shopping & culinary delights in Dortmund
Westenhellweg is Dortmund’s most popular shopping street with many stores and the modern Thier-Galerie. Away from the main mile, you will discover charming, owner-managed stores on the quality route. Soccer fans should visit the BVB FanWelt.
The Rosenterrassen restaurant and the many cafés and restaurants in the beautiful Kreuzviertel district – just a few minutes’ walk from the trade fair – offer a wide range of culinary delights.
