Services for people
with disabilities

  • Accessing the Halls
Our entire exhibition centre is wheelchair accessible. Halls 4 to 8 are connected with one another and are situated at ground level. The upper Halls (2, 2U, 2N, 3A, 3B) as well as other high-up rooms in the conference centre can be reached using lifts. All halls have disability access bathrooms.

  • Wheelchair Hire
Wheelchairs can be hired from the porters in exchange for a deposit. (Attention: limited amount available)

  • Bathroom Facilities
The disabled toilets are located in the Trade Fair Forum entrance area, in the passage from Hall 4 to Hall 7, and in the West Trade Fair entrance.

  • Parking
Our disabled parking spaces at the exhibition centre are kept free by our stewards and are therefore not specifically indicated. In this way we can ensure that no matter what the trade fair, you will have access to those parking spaces nearest to the entrance. Please inform the parking stewards of your situation upon arrival. Seriously disabled people who own a blue disabled parking badge will be shown to a space near the entrance by our stewards. Parking at our exhibition centre is free.

At the JAGD & HUND, CREATIVA and INTERMODELLBAU fairs, you can also use our free "MesseExpress" shuttle bus service. This travels between the entrance areas and nearby car parks every 10 minutes. The stops are indicated in the attached site plan with a red "M". These are low-floor buses which can be accessed by wheelchair users.

  • Public Transport
The easiest way to reach us is taking the U45 from Dortmund Central Station to the "Westfalenhallen U" station. From here, you can get straight to our exhibition centre using the lifts available.
